Well we found out this week that you are going to be girl. I’m sure you will still be called Baby Roo for a little bit longer, but it is wonderful to know that it will only be a matter of time when we can announce you to the world as Our little Girl. We had a wonderful party this weekend to let your extended family know that you will be our little princess. Everyone was so excited, and could hardly wait for the moment that we would tell them.
Your Mom had a great idea to have a cake made with either a Pink or Blue center. Everyone wanted to skip dinner and just cut the cake, I had to play “the bad guy” and make everyone wait. Well, it was a huge hit. Mom asked the Grandmothers to cut the cake, as soon as the knives touched the top of the cake everyone was out of their seats and huddled around the table trying to get the first look. It was very exciting to watch, and I couldn’t have felt more proud.
The party was a great success, it was great seeing the family having a great time together.
